Queen of shade!
Karen Huger is throwing some major shade at frenemy Gizelle Bryant! She’s also pointing out some major missteps Wendy Osefo made during her freshman season of the Real Housewives of Potomac.
The Grand Dame of Potomac calls Gizelle “thirsty” and says the Every Hue Beauty founder’s body is “bloated.”
She hints that Gizelle may have a drinking problem due to the constant bloating of her ankles, face, and hands.
“I don’t know. Have you seen? Have you seen her lately?” Karen asked comedienne Luenell Campbell during an interview on YouTube. “Noooo. Well, she’s very, her face is very bloated, her hands are bloated, her ankles are bloated. It almost looks like, it’s like, um, alcohol inflammation, ya know?”
The RHOP OG then claimed that she’s concerned about Gizelle.
“I’m like, ‘Are you okay,’” she quipped. “Is your business okay? What is going on?’”
Karen insists she truly cares about Gizelle and hopes everything is okay with her. However, Karen quickly started singing another tune and began discussing Gizelle behavior on RHOP.
She admitted she’s over how opinionated Gizelle is about everyone else’s life on the show but remains completely closed off and private about her own personal life.
“It don’t work like that. It worked like that for four years for you, but time is up. Let’s see what Gizelle is about,” she said.
As far as the rest of the RHOP cast, Karen claims she’s been in touch with them all since the season 5 reunion except for Gizelle. She then noted that Gizelle needs to “get it together.”
When asked who the thirstiest RHOP cast member is, Karen said, “Gizelle. Gizelle. I would say Gizelle is the thirstiest one.”
The conversation then turned to RHOP newbie Wendy Osefo, who Karen admits is crazy intelligent. However, Karen doesn’t think Wendy made the best decisions her first year on the show.
Interviewer Luenell agreed and noted that the “jury’s still out” on whether Wendy will become a fan favorite.
To wrap, Luenell praised Karen for using the Real Housewives platform to launch several successful businesses. Karen then gave some sage advice to future Real Housewives.
“You’re not gonna get rich, um, by being a Housewife. You will get rich by using the platform and branding yourself if you’re smart,” she said. “Consider that.”
RHOP will return to Bravo for season 6 in 2021.
