Word on the street is Bravo is looking to hire two new Housewives for season 6 of the Real Housewives of Potomac.
A source tells The Jasmine Brand, “They’re trying to add two new women to Potomac.”
As you know, at the end of season 5, Monique Samuels announced she was exiting the show after four seasons. This left the door open for a new addition to the RHOP cast, but it seems that Bravo wants to add even more new blood into the mix for season 6.
According to a source, Bravo thinks RHOP needs “fresh faces and new storylines.”
“Potomac needs to fill Monique’s role on the show. Before Monique quit, production was anticipating following the aftermath of Monique and Candiace – will they reconcile? Will the cast remain divided? Now that she’s gone, they’ll need to explore new people,” the source explained.
Producers are reportedly already beginning the casting process for season 6.
Meanwhile, Robyn is making it clear that she’s not putting down her glass of champagne anytime soon!
Last week Robyn first shut down rumors she had been fired by Bravo on Instagram while also sharing one nasty hate-filled message she received from a fan of the show.
“Sorry, you get your news from non-credible sources. Don’t get too excited,” Robyn wrote.
Now, a source close to production on RHOP confirms to PEOPLE that Robyn has not been fired from the show.
“If or when RHOP returns, I am looking forward to being part of the new season and sharing my story with the viewers who have been supportive of my journey and the show,” Robyn said in a statement to PEOPLE.
RHOP will return to Bravo for season 6 in 2021.
