LeeAnne Locken is speaking out about her time on the Real Housewives of Dallas, and she’s NOT holding back.
The former RHOD Housewife chatted with Bravo After Thoughts and spilled some major tea about her time on the show and newbie Tiffany Moon.
When asked if she feels anyone within the RHOD cast played a character on TV, LeeAnne said, “I actually think Kameron even said that to one of the VP at the beginning this year that the only person who was the same on and off the camera was me.”
She continued, “I think that’s a sad statement for a reality show. I think it is, in today’s times, hard to find people who have large lives, but if you don’t do your job and find them, you’re creating false content.”
“The audience knows. Our audience isn’t dumb,” she noted.
Adding, “One of the things I said from day one is I’m not lying to the audience. I’m just not going to do it on television. When you see me off-camera somewhere at a Whole Foods market or a mall shopping, I want you to ask me something and [for] me know exactly what you’re talking about. Not something that was created for me.”
As for one thing she would change about her time on RHOD, LeeAnne said, “Of course. Listen, I’m not perfect, and sadly, the longer I was on the show; I wasn’t proud of how I behaved. And I do wish I could have changed some of that.”
“But a lot of people don’t get that how pinned into a corner they love to put me. That was the producers’ go-to. If there’s nothing going on, pin LeeAnne in a corner. Now was I responsible for getting out of that corner? 100%. That most of what I regret – that I wasn’t a stronger person. And that’s all that I’ve worked on since I’ve left is finding my joy, my peace again,” she continued. “Being on a reality TV show – if you do it the right way, which is living authentically, it can be the best therapy you’ve ever had.”
LeeAnne also said that she didn’t think she got a fair edit on the show at all.
“I do not. I think in the new season, I will continue to not get a fair edit,” she quipped.
Adding, “They will use me, but they won’t pay me.”
She went on to say it’s “sad” and that she doesn’t understand how Andy Cohen “can be okay” with producers using former Housewives, like herself and RHOC’s Tamra Judge, as storylines and topics on the shows when they are no longer a part of the drama.
“When do they move on?” You’ve asked us to move on? Why don’t ya’ll?” she questioned.
LeeAnne also made it clear she has “no” intention of watching season 5 of RHOD.
“Why? For what purpose? No. I’m sure I’ll get enough information from other people,” the former Housewife noted.
When asked if she knows the two new additions to RHOD – Tiffany Moon and Jen Davis, LeeAnne explained, “I don’t know them, personally, I know of them via friends who know them.”
She then dropped a major bombshell about Tiffany. According to LeeAnne, several season 5 members attempted to get Tiffany to leave the show.
“I have been told by some very close to the cast that the majority of the cast tried to get Tiffany to quit or be fired. So, we will see how that goes,” she claimed.
