On Instagram, in a now-deleted post, Lexi joked that her mom married rich, so she doesn’t have to.
“Cheers to New Years in Cabo & your mom marrying rich so you don’t have to,” Lexi captioned a photo of her and a friend toasting on the beach.
Dina quickly chimed in and made it clear she didn’t marry for money.
“P.S. I didn’t marry rich. I made him rich,” Dina clarified.
The former RHONJ star’s hubby Dave Cantin then commented, “You make me a lot of things but money isn’t one…..love u.”
Dina quipped back, “that’s what you think honey. It’s ok. Love you too.”
Dina and Dave started dating in 2015 and secretly tied the knot in 2017. It wasn’t until two years later that the former NJ Housewife confirmed she was remarried.
The former event planner was previously married to George Hadjiapostoli, the father of her daughter Lexi, as well as Thomas “Tommy” Manzo.
Tommy was arrested in June 2020 for allegedly hiring a mobster to attack Dina’s then-boyfriend, now-husband Dave in 2015.
Meanwhile, Dina opened up about how difficult 2020 was for her in a post on Instagram.
In 2020, Dina not only lost her father but also her beloved rescue pup Gracie.
“We made it. What a heavy year, so much to take on. The worst of it all; losing my Dad and my precious Gracie made me feel emotions I didn’t even know existed. I guess I should be grateful for that statement alone. Like Winnie the poo said “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard,” Dina wrote.
She continued, “I believe 2020 was a year that brought most of us to our knees so we can rise from the ashes stronger and better as individuals, as a country, and collectively as a planet. I wish you all the blessings life has to offer. I wish you a new year filled with healing and love. I wish for peace in our hearts. Every one of us….and so it is.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return to Bravo in early 2021.
