Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Tom and Erika Girardi have major drama both personally and legally. Erika filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences”; however, Erika later doxxed his alleged mistress and blamed her for their split. Tom, for his part, is at risk of losing his entire professional reputation (and money) as he is claiming to be broke after being accused of stealing client money. Needless to say, if these allegations are proven to be true, he will be done in the legal world. With Erika no longer getting $40K/month for glam alone – how is she planning on staying afloat?

In other Girardi news, Harriet Ryan and Matt Hamilton, the writers behind the infamous LA Times article (which is totally worth the read if you haven’t yet), spoke with Kate Casey on her Reality Life podcast about the bizarre case.
The writers discussed Mr. Girardi facing an involuntary bankruptcy, which was prompted by his creditors at the end of last year and the many civil cases against him. With Erika filing for divorce, many assumed she was jumping ship after discovering the money was gone; however, Erika seems to be insinuating that it was due to Tom’s infidelity. Erika shared the photo, alleged texts, and phone number of the alleged mistress, which in itself could bring on more legal trouble for her. Harriet told Kate that since Erika included the alleged other woman’s phone number, there could be a criminal layer to the situation.
