The drama is heating up in Potomac!
Season 5 of the Real Housewives of Potomac may be over, but the drama continues to live on!
However, it turns out that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
Following part one of the season 5 reunion, Jamal sent Monique a cease and desist letter claiming that the now-former RHOP star was “maliciously spreading inaccurate and unfounded information” about him.
Bryant claims he plans to sue Monique if she doesn’t stop making false statements about him.
If you recall, Monique Samuels made some shocking claims about Gizelle and Jamal’s “relationship” during part one of the reunion.
After Karen Huger brought up rumors that Gizelle and Jamal’s reconciliation was all for the TV cameras, Monique grabbed her binder of secrets and read text messages between Jamal and a female pastor he allegedly had a relationship with while filming season 5 of RHOP.
In one text message, Jamal allegedly claimed that his relationship with Gizelle was just for TV. Monique further proved the texts were from Jamal when she shared his phone number aloud, which Gizelle confirmed.
After Jamal went after Monique legally, the Not For Lazy Mom‘s blog founder had her legal team fire back. They filed their own cease and desist letter against Jamal, accusing him of making false statements about her.
The legal documents state: “Your claims against Mrs. Samuels in your cease and desist letter are false, have no merit, and are baseless by their very nature. Specifically, in your cease and desist letter, you claim that Mrs. Samuels falsely accused you of having inappropriate relationships with members of your congregation. This allegation, however, is false and has no merit as Mrs. Samuels has irrefutable proof of your egregious sexual conduct with a woman you have been seeing for the past eight years, as well as others.”
Monique’s attorney also insisted that the former RHOP star “has irrefutable proof of your egregious sexual conduct with a woman you have been seeing for the past eight years, as well as others.”
Jamal also claims that Monique reading his phone number aloud at the reunion caused him harm. However, Monique’s lawyer denies the claim and points out, in the legal docs, that Bravo edited the number from airing.
Meanwhile, Monique’s hubby Chris Samuels is firing back at Jamal with a cease and desist letter of his own.
The former NFL star claims that the Atlanta-based pastor has been “spreading lies and disparaging remarks” about him on social media.
Jamal claims that Chris has CTE, and because of it, he’s abusive towards Monique and other women. He also claims Chris has cheated on Monique and has verbally assaulted other women.
Chris wants Jamal to remove all his social media posts and issue a public apology within three days. If not, Chris plans to sue Jamal.
Stay tuned for more on this developing story!
RHOP will return to Bravo for season 6 in 2021.
