On Monday, December 21, she shared a #BOYCOTTBRAVO petition for fans to sign on Instagram.
The Change.org petition read: “This petition is putting Bravo TV on notice that fans of the shows Real Housewives of Atlanta and Married to Medicine hold them accountable for their dirty deeds, particularly as it relates to the unfair and biased treatment they have displayed towards their African American talent, more specifically NeNe Leakes and Mariah Huq.”
“Both ladies have been greatly disrespected, underappreciated, and devalued right before our eyes,” the petition continued.

NeNe then elaborated on her goals via Twitter.
In a series of tweets, NeNe slammed Bravo for their treatment of black women and encouraged fans to “turn off your TVs.”
“Let’s start it! What are we waiting for? A lot has happened, and support is much needed. We all need must stick together in all racial discrimination situations. The viewers’ eyes were tricked,” NeNe began.
She continued, “Y’all ready to start this boycott yet? What has happened behind the scenes is WRONG! While others were being promoted, BLACK WOMEN who created shows, created genres, built franchises, and built networks were being DEMOTED…TURN OFF YOUR TV’S.”
Adding, “Sign the petitions when you see them, repost the boycott flyers when you see them, turn off your TVs.”
This seems to be in response to NeNe’s exit from RHOA.
NeNe also talked about the “mistreatment of black women” on Instagram stories.
“Black women are viewed as strong there; they should receive any kind of treatment,” NeNe wrote. “There should be more support for the mistreatment of black women!”
She then hinted about taking legal action against Bravo by asking for help contacting the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Back in October, NeNe accused Bravo and Andy Cohen of pushing her off RHOA. She also claimed the Bravo didn’t want her to work in any capacity on the network.
“They have forced me out of the franchise; we will get to that in another video,” NeNe said on YouTube. “So, since I have been forced out of the franchise, then leave my name alone. Let me sit over here and heal in peace. Leave me alone. If you don’t have anything positive to say about me working for your network after 13 years, stop bringing up my name on your show to help your ratings. Stop it. You don’t want me here; you’ve been forcing me out for the last four years. There’s no reason why you need to keep bringing me up and talking so negatively of me if I don’t mean shit to you.”
NeNe also accused Andy of being a racist.
“This is a conversation that he and I and people involved are going to have to deal with behind [the] scenes. All I can do is take you back to one of my old sayings, ‘I said what I said,” NeNe said during an interview with ExtraTV.
“The racist is the master manipulator! They using me for ratings like they have always done,” NeNe tweeted about Andy on Sunday, September 27.
