Drama always seems to find Kelly Dodd!
The Real Housewives of Orange County star has once again found herself in hot water for her comments/actions regarding the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Kelly’s latest social media blunder went down on Sunday when she posted a photo of her and her husband, Rick Leventhal, out and about in Orange County on Instagram.
In the photo, Rick and Kelly are smiling sans masks. In the photo background, you can see that no one else in the vicinity is wearing a face mask either.
“Sunday Funday in Huntington Beach where no one is muzzled and caged,” Kelly captioned the post. She added the hashtags “#probusiness #everythingisessential #freedom #rhoc.”
Not too long after the post went up on Kelly’s Instagram, it magically disappeared from Kelly’s feed, i.e., the RHOC star deleted her controversial post.
Thankfully, one fan got a screenshot of Kelly’s post before she deleted it for good.
A short time later, Kelly posted a less controversial sunset photo on her Instagram page.
“My beautiful view on another amazing day in the OC #orangecounty #sundayfunday@rickleventhal,” Kelly captioned a photo of palm trees and a cotton candy-colored sky.
However, fans didn’t let Kelly get away with deleting her previous post that easily.
“What happened to your last post that you had to take down because it was about how mask rules don’t apply to you??????” one fan wrote while another said, “What happened to your last post? Oops, Now look at my damage control sunset picture.”
Another fan commented, “No, Kelly, you kept saying it was hilarious that no one was wearing a mask in Huntington Beach! There is not one thing funny about this pandemic! It is irresponsible to not wear a frickin mask!!”
“Your mother just almost died of covid, and you’re laughing about people not wearing masks. You’re an absolutely despicable human being,” another fan pointed out.
