Clapping back!
Braunwyn Windham-Burke is clapping back at Kelly Dodd‘s recent claims that she’s faking her sobriety for a storyline.
On Wednesday morning, the Real Housewives of Orange County star sounded off on Twitter.
“If I was going to do something just for “storyline,” I would of picked something easier, being sober in this toxic environment ain’t easy….to have someone diminish the struggle is low, I’ve been blessed to have support and have been working a program, if you need help it works,” Braunwyn tweeted.
Braunwyn also pointed out that it’s “very common” for women to be able to stop drinking while pregnant.
This comes days after Kelly appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen and insisted that Braunwyn’s battle with alcoholism was fake.
“I think her whole sobriety thing is contrived and fake,” Kelly revealed on Wednesday’s WWHL.
She continued, “I don’t think she had seven kids, so she could not drink. I know her well enough that this was a pre-plotted thing that she wanted to do to get her own show. The truth. Her talent agent told her to stop drinking – it’s all contrived. I don’t believe that she’s a real alcoholic. You’ll see later on at the end of the show what happens.”
Braunwyn initially responded to Kelly’s claims on Instagram, calling them “low.” She also said that Kelly was “pretty vile and cruel, so it’s not unexpected.”

Days later Kelly took to Twitter again to attack Braunwyn. She once again accused Braunwyn of manufacturing her storyline on RHOC while promising to expose her.
“More lies!!! The truth is coming!!” Kelly tweeted. “You are Tamra 2.0 with your manufactured storylines…you’ll be exposed soon. Vile and cruel? Look at your ET interviews! #pathetic @braunwyn.”
