Vanderpump Rules hasn’t been canceled – yet!
Rumors are swirling that Bravo has canceled Pump Rules. This gossip comes on the heels of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s departure from the long-running reality TV show.
However, two Bravo insiders are shutting down the rumors and set the record straight.
“#PumpRules has been cancelled – the entire cast was informed via a Zoom meeting on Tuesday and released from their contracts – it’s over,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“That’s not true,” Danny Pellegrino, host of the Everything Iconic podcast.
The same fan continued to spread said gossip, tweeting, “Word on the street is the entire cast of #PumpRules has been released from their contracts – the show CANCELLED.”
This time around, Variety’s Editor-At-Large Kate Aurthur shut down the speculation and gossip.
“This isn’t true,” she wrote in response to the above tweet.
“I gotta talk about Jax and Brittany,” he began. “I just have to say; I have to give it up to them.”
Andy then credited Jax for creating “so much story, drama, conversation in his eight years on that show.”
“That’s quite a run that he had,” Cohen said. “He will go down as one of the biggest, you know, reality stars in their moment, don’t you think?”
He also applauded Jax for always being “a good sport” when he stopped by Watch What Happens Live.
“He was always in the middle of some s—storm on the show, and we just would roast him mercilessly, and he always took it like a man,” Andy recalled. “He was a good sport about [it]. He would come to Watch What Happens Live, and he would be like, ‘How mean are you going to be to me today?’ And I would be like, ‘It’s bad.’ “
“There was always stuff that we were confronting him about, and he took it,” he said.
As for the future of VPR, Andy said, “Listen, they’ve got Lala [Kent], James [Kennedy], Scheana [Shay], Tom [Sandoval], Tom [Schwartz], Katie [Maloney], Arianna [Madix], the new people. I mean, that’s a solid cast.”
He continued, “When that show’s going to start shooting again, I have no idea, but I’m excited. I’m excited for there to be a shift also.”
It’s unclear when or if Bravo will begin filming for season 9 of Vanderpump Rules.
