If anyone knows how to put their foot in their mouth it’s Kelly Dodd. The OC beauty is so well known for saying so many off the chart things that Andy Cohen made a special third round (yes – third time at this) of the WWHL game ‘Do you Regret It?’
After outraging fans by claiming Covid was “God’s way of thinning the herd,” saying that masks don’t work and wearing a ‘drunk wives matter‘ hat, Andy had to ask how many of her poor decisions she actually regretted. Kelly’s mom was admitted to the ICU after getting Covid, so naturally, Andy asked if her view on the virus had changed. When asked about her ignorant and insensitive comments on the virus, Kelly said:
“Of course I regret saying that. At the time, it was a question. Like, ‘Why are all these people dying?’ It was a stupid thing for me to say. It was insensitive and I apologize if I hurt or offended anybody because that wasn’t my intention. It was the stupidest thing I’ve ever said.”
Kelly continued stating that she hates “wearing a mask. I’m claustrophobic. I can’t stand wearing a mask. [But] now I understand the science behind it and I’m ready, willing, and able to wear a mask and I know it’s important because I don’t want to get sick and I don’t want to get others sick. I’m a human being. I make mistakes.”
As for making light of the BLM movement, Kelly states that the “The ‘Drunk Wives Matter’ hat was given to me. My girlfriend gave it to me. She’s had it for a couple of years. That hat was two years old. She thought it was a play on words. I didn’t buy the hat. I didn’t go out and sport the hat. I believe in equality [and] I believe in Black Lives Matter.”

Kelly can be so cringeworthy that it’s often hard to watch. If she regrets so much (like she claims she does) perhaps she thinks before she speaks (and posts!)
