The Real Housewives of Orange County - RHOC

RHOC Preview: Elizabeth Vargas Gets Called Out For Always Talking About Money Plus Gina Kirschenheiter Declares That ‘Braunwyn is Friggin’ Broken’

Drama drama drama!

In a preview of Wednesday’s all-new episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County, fans see newbie Elizabeth Vargas get called out.

The RHOC cast seems to take issue with Elizabeth always talking about money. As a result, Elizabeth reflects on why she’s so money-obsessed.

“All she cares about is money,” Gina Kirschenheiter tells Emily Simpson and Shannon Beador about their newest co-star. “She’s constantly like ‘I don’t care about money, but I care about money.'”

As this conversation is going down, another conversation between Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Elizabeth is also happening.

Kelly and Braunwyn let Elizabeth know that she talks about money way too much, and it seems to be rubbing the ladies the wrong way.

“They are very wary about people being full of crap,” Kelly tells Elizabeth, who seems taken aback and replies, “I’m sorry they feel that way.”

“I don’t care what anyone thinks I have, I don’t have, how much money I do have,” Elizabeth insists, to which Kelly says, “You actually do talk about it a lot.”

“I’m probably talking about it because it’s all I’m getting out of my divorce,” the newbie tells Kelly and Braunwyn.

While filming season 15 of RHOC, Elizabeth was in the middle of settling her divorce from ex-husband Bernt Bodal. The two finalized their divorce in July.

Kelly and Braunwyn then encourage Elizabeth to “stop talking about” her divorce and money because it’s getting “annoying.”

However, in her confessional, Elizabeth points out that it all has a deeper meaning for her.

“When I came into money, all I wanted to be was perceived as successful,” she admits. “Growing up, I was poor. I had three jobs in high school just so I could drive a nice car so I wasn’t perceived as this poor little Mexican girl.”

In the end, Elizabeth thanked Kelly and Braunwyn for being honest with her.

Speaking of honesty, Gina, Emily, and Shannon continue their conversation; however, they turn their attention to discussing Braunwyn and her battle with sobriety.

Earlier in the morning, Gina and Emily attended an AA meeting with Braunwyn, who recently revealed she’s an alcoholic.

“Braunwyn is friggin’ broken right now,” Gina confesses. “You could see, like, even this morning, like, going to AA, it’s not glamorous.”

She adds that it was probably “very terrifying” for Braunwyn to be so open with everyone. Emily then questions Gina’s sudden and shocking change of heart when it comes to Braunwyn.

“She got in my heart,” Gina responds. “She got in my heart. You get in my heart; I stick with you.”

Yet, it seems that Braunwyn isn’t the only one the RHOC cast is worried about. Some of the ladies are worried about Shannon’s excessive drinking. Elizabeth explains that Shannon was so drunk the night before that she started a fight with her boyfriend, Jimmy.

“She needs to stop drinking,” Elizabeth declared.

“This conversation about Shannon, it hits a little too close to home,” Braunwyn in her confessional. “Drinking is fun, and then it’s fun with problems, and then it’s just problems. I see a lot of problems right now with Shannon.”
