Lisa Vanderpump may be shutting a second restaurant this year.
Now, it seems that PUMP may be closing for good as well.
On November 24, LVP shared a cryptic message with fans on Twitter. Around the same time, photos of a rental company “cleaning out” the West Hollywood eatery surfaced.
“After much cost & consideration for the well being of staff & guests, we endeavored to open. Sadly, many restaurants will not reopen,” Lisa wrote on Twitter. “We want to thank patrons and an incredible staff who followed stringent guidelines. Masks are essential; stay safe; we will prevail. Happy Thanksgiving.”
While Lisa has yet to confirm or deny the closure of PUMP or any of her other restaurants, Real Housewives fan Christian Gray Snow shared photos of Big Top Rentals “cleaning out PUMP.”
Christian explained that while on his morning “coffee run,” he “spotted” the commotion at PUMP.
“Following LVP’s cryptic tweet about the LA restaurant shut down this morning, a rental company is cleaning out PUMP,” Christian wrote on Instagram.
“I must admit, I have many questions about Lisa’s decision to delay the openings of her businesses when they are primarily outdoor dining spaces,” he continued. “SUR didn’t reopen until Sept 23, and PUMP reopened Oct 28 despite outdoor dining thriving through the summer in Southern California. Interesting. Guess time will tell what’s happening.”
Not surprisingly, several RHOBH/Pump Rules fans chimed in.
“She’s been broke way before the pandemic,” one fan wrote while another pointed out, “There was a revealed blind not too long ago that hinted that she would be filing bankruptcy.”
However, others pointed out that the rental company was setting up the “winter tent that gets installed every year” for “outside dining during winter.”
Another fan noted that PUMP’s possible closure could have something to do with the class-action lawsuit against Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd.
On Twitter, fans were equally as confused by Lisa’s cryptic tweet and the photos of what looks like PUMP being cleared out.
“Is she closing down, Pump?” one fan questioned. “I thought it had reopened, though. She has the garden. The TomTom is the one that had not opened. Might be closing for good.”
“Yea, what was with it being like a non-announcement announcement??” a second fan wondered.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 11 in mid-2021.
