Word on the street is that Wendy Osefo is in massive debt!
The Real Housewives of Potomac newbie is reportedly $1.5 million in debt despite her very extravagant Potomac lifestyle.
According to an article by Showbiz Cheatsheet, Wendy doesn’t have an endless supply of money like some of the other Potomac Housewives seem to have.
Per the article, “Although she [Wendy] has more than one gig, Osefo, and her husband owe well over seven figures since not all of her jobs are as high-paying as one would think. The reason for the debt, though, may not be as irresponsible as some fans may assume. Osefo, whose net worth is $1.5 million, has student loans to pay, which isn’t too surprising given her extensive education.”
This article comes after All About the Tea first reported on Wendy’s alleged debt.
“Wendy needs that [Bravo] check. Dr. Wendy is one of the lowest-paid part-time professors at John Hopkins,” the insider alleged.
“They were RENTING for 8 years after they got married,” the insider added. “Then production expressed interest…and they finally bought a house.”
Wendy and her husband, Eddie, bought their home in June 2019 for $645k. The RHOP couple reportedly financed the “nowhere near Potomac” home with two loans.
“Wendy and Eddie have over $1.5 million in student loan debt,” the insider explained. “Wendy is lying about how successful and accomplished she really is. Her husband is in the same boat…bachelor, master, law and doctorate degrees…but hasn’t taken a case to trial in years.”
“Wendy is in debt. She’s thirsty, and she needs a check,” the source concluded.
This isn’t surprising considering Wendy has degrees from Temple, Johns Hopkins, and Rutgers Universities, respectively. It’s not like Wendy has claimed to be worth millions and millions of dollars so I don’t think many will find her student loan debt surprising. In fact, I think most will find it quite relatable.
RHOP airs on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
