Word on the street is Candiace Dillard may be on Bravo’s chopping block following her season 5 drama with Monique Samuels.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star has caused quite a bit of drama on and off the TV screen, which have reportedly rubbed producers the wrong way.
Not only did Candiace get into a physical altercation with Monique, but she also allegedly demanded money from the Samuels family.
If that weren’t enough, Candiace also irked producers way when she began feuding with Ashley and Michael Darby. She also allegedly threatened to fight Karen Huger.
Now, according to a new report from Up and Adam!, the RHOP cast will be down one housewife when the franchise returns for season six.
Candiace’s ongoing issues with the RHOP cast is giving producers a lot to think about. So much so that they are considering giving Candiace the axe ahead of season six.
In coming episodes of RHOP, fans will see Candiace go head to head with Ashley for siding with Monique amid their feud. As seen in the season 5 mid-season trailer, Candiace’s husband, Chris Basset, can be seen getting into a physical altercation with Michael Darby over Ashley and Candiace’s drama.
It is believed that Candiace provoked the fight between Michael and Chris and attempted to fight Karen.
All of this has left RHOP producers wondering, “who the problem is.” Many believed that Monique would get the axe after seemingly starting the physical fight between her and Candice. However, it seems that Candiace’s behavior is overshadowing Monique’s error in judgment.
On top of all of this, Candiace also came under fire in recent months for past homophobic tweets that resurfaced. This type of behavior has gotten other Bravolebs fired. She also wished death on a blogger who recently passed away.
It should be noted that Andy Cohen recently insisted that he doesn’t believe any casting shakeups will occur for season 6 of RHOP.
“No, I don’t [think the RHOP cast will change]. I think that’s one of the reasons why Potomac is so great,” he explained on Danny Pellegrino’s Everything Iconic podcast.
Meanwhile, Candiace has made it known that she doesn’t see how she and Monique can co-exist on RHOP after their season 5 feud.
“If Monique is invited back to Real Housewives of Potomac, will you go back?”Just the Sip host Justin Sylvester asked Candiace.
“I don’t see a world where the two of us can exist,” she admitted.
Only time will tell what, if any, casting changes Bravo will make for RHOP moving forward.
RHOP airs on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
