Heather Dubrow is weighing in on the recent controversies surrounding her former Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Kelly Dodd.
The former RHOC star appeared on the Poplitically Incorrect podcast, where she confessed she could understand why some fans were boycotting season 15 after Kelly wore a ‘Drunk Wives Matter’ hat.
“I don’t harbor any ill will. I don’t want to be friends, but I have… nothing,” Heather admitted when asked about her relationship with Kelly.
“But, I think that in these days and times, talking about the boycott, if you don’t believe in the Black Lives Matter movement if you’re gonna be against this if you’re not gonna understand where we are in our world today and what humans need, you’re not human,” she continued.
“You can understand why someone would be canceled,” Heather said before adding that she’s “not a big fan of cancel culture” in general.
Heather and Kelly starred on RHOC together from 2015 to 2016.
In October, Kelly made headlines after wearing a ‘Drunk Wives Matter’ hat at her bridal shower.
After receiving blowback from fans Kelly, and her friends, condescendingly said they were “so sorry” for being “insensitive” and that it was a “joke” and a “gift.”
Kelly then told anyone who couldn’t get the joke to “Go f–k yourself.”

She later semi-apologized in a statement on Twitter.
This, along with Kelly’s controversial COVID-19 comments, have left a bad taste in many RHOC fans’ mouths, forcing them to boycott season 15 altogether.
Kelly’s RHOC co-star Gina Kirschenheiter recently addressed the boycott in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I do think that if somebody really has been offended and feels that they’ve been victimized by something that she’s said, I understand if they want to take a stand and they don’t want to watch,” Gina told ET. “She just can’t get out of her own way. I don’t agree with any of it; I don’t like any of it.”
However, Gina doesn’t think fans should boycott the season altogether; instead, she suggests fans “fast forward through” Kelly’s parts on the show.
Adding that RHOC is comprised of 5 other women with “very important things happening” that fans should see.
“She’ll say anything for the joke,” Gina continued, “but she doesn’t understand she’s not a comedian, she’s just on a show where she’s just a public figure, and so, it’s hard because I want to believe that she doesn’t mean a lot of the stupid things that she says, but she says them.”
Season 15 of RHOC airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c.
Thoughts on Heather’s comments? Do you believe Kelly’s been canceled? Could this be Kelly’s last season on RHOC?
