The shade keeps coming this season of Real Housewives of Potomac and Candiace Dillard is happy to dish it out.
Speaking with E!’s Justin Justin Sylvester, Candiace spoke out on being traumatized during the aftermath of her physical altercation with Monique and even thinks the abuse continued after the cameras stopped rolling. Candiace reveals that she felt Monique “sent her indentured servants out here into these streets, trolling my pages with clown emojis and rat emojis, trolling my mother, trolling my husband, trolling my sister. All at her hand. To try and reroute this narrative for her.” As for seeing Monique at the upcoming reunion? Candiace thinks it will “be the most emotionally taxing” reunion yet.
Monique wasn’t the only one who Candiace isn’t cool with as her relationship with Ashley Darby has been rocky at best. Despite her issues with her frenemy, it was her husband Michael that got the bulk of her shade. When asked about Michael Darby, Candiace didn’t hold back stating:
“I just can’t, for the life of me, I can’t understand. This man is like 79 years old. You are too old to be behaving like this. You have an infant and one more on the way and you have shamed…your child is in utero; you are shaming your child and they’re not even here yet.”
As for why Ashley is still with him? Candiace theorized that Ashley is “not that dumb. I think she just wants to have children, and this is the person she’s been in it with for so long and this is the person who’s gonna provide security for her and her children.” Candiace dropped another major bombshell stating that viewers are going to find out some juicy gossip later this season regarding the marriage of Michael and Ashley stating: “I don’t think she thinks it’s gonna fix anything. I think she’s aware of what she has, and you kinda see that—I didn’t see this, I heard about it—you kinda see that at the finale.”
Well, she definitely has me intrigued! Stay with AllAboutTRH for more details.
RHOP airs Sundays on Bravo.
Thoughts on Candiace’s interview? Too much shade or just the right amount?
