Good for the franchise!
As we previously reported, Crystal Kung Minkoff has officially signed on for season 11 of RHOBH. The 35-year-old entrepreneur and mom of two will be the first Asian-American Housewife on the RHOBH franchise.
While appearing on The Jenny McCarthy Show, Kyle opened up about how she feels about Crystal joining RHOBH.
“I like her,” Kyle confessed. “I’ve met her a couple of times now, and I think she’s going to be just great. She’s very outgoing and confident, and I think she’s very smart and beautiful. I think she’s going to be really good for the show.”
She also admitted that it’s not easy joining the RHOBH cast but believes that Crystal will do just fine fitting in.
“It’s really hard coming into this group,” Kyle admitted. “I could say I totally get it, but I don’t. When I came into the show 11 years ago, we were all starting together for the first time. I can’t imagine what it feels like coming into this group, and this show that’s been so successful… it must be so strange.”
“You have to have a lot of confidence and be very opinionated and outspoken,” she revealed before adding that she believes Crystal “fits all of that.”
Crystal is the founder of Real Coco, which produces various coconut-based products, including milk, water, coffee creamer, and chips.
The new Housewife is married to Rob Minkoff, 58, a Disney director, who most infamously directed the original Lion King movie. The two married in 2007 and share son Max, 8, and daughter Zoe, 5.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 11 in mid-2021.
