Reunited and it feels so good!
Andy Cohen is known for his love of Housewives, a good drink, and of course his beloved dog Wacha. When it was revealed that the WWHL host had to rehome his beloved rescue pup, fans were obviously disappointed as Wacha had become a staple to his late-night audience.
After Andy’s son Benjamin was born, Andy announced that he had to make the gut-wrenching decision to find Wacha a new home after getting professional advice on the subject. Despite having to re-home him, on his Instagram stories, Andy revealed that he still meets him up to go for walks in the Big Apple. Andy shared:
“Reunited with my buddy today. He’s happy to be walking around his old haunts.”
While we don’t know anything about Wacha’s new home, we do know that he is happily living in Connecticut and that Andy felt it was best for both his son and the dog. At the time, Andy stated:
“Over the nearly seven years that I’ve been blessed to have Wacha in my life, we have worked to address some occasional random signs of aggression.”
“No effort was spared in the attempt to help Wacha feel adjusted. After an incident a few months ago, numerous professionals led me to the conclusion that my home is simply not a good place for him. Keeping him here could be catastrophic for Ben and worse for Wacha.”
I’m a huge animal lover so seeing the two reunited made me happy as I’m sure it meant a lot to both Andy and Wacha. Here’s hoping the two can maintain their sweet relationship despite Wacha relocating to a new home.
