The OC will be a whole new ballgame when the Real Housewives of Orange County returns for season 15 on October 14.
For the first time in nearly a decade, Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson will be missing in action on RHOC. The two veteran Housewives left the show in January 2020, leaving many fans worried and nervous about the franchise’s future.
However, Emily Simpson thinks fans should be excited about what’s to come this season on RHOC.
In a new interview with HollywoodLife, Emily opens up about what fans can expect from season 15.
Even though it was a “challenging season” to film amid the Coronavirus pandemic, which forced Bravo to halt production two weeks into filming, Emily says the cast “came together and did the best that we could considering the challenges that we [were] dealt with.”
After a “really difficult” season 14, Emily says season 15 was a breath of fresh air. Not only did Emily get a new hip, but she also got things back on track with BFF Gina.
As a result, viewers will see a lot more positivity on RHOC. They will also see “strong relationships between Kelly and me and Kelly and Shannon — [including] their ups and downs — [as well as] Gina and me, and I think Elizabeth was a great addition.”
To conclude, she also revealed that fans will see Braunwyn go through something truly personal during season 15. At the end of episode one, Braunwyn revealed that she’s an alcoholic – a shocking revelation that no one saw coming.
“So it’s all very raw, very authentic and very real,” she said, noting that “the second half of the season [will have] some surprises that come up that people don’t have any idea about.”
RHOC airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c.
