Brandi Redmond is mourning the loss of her mother-in-law.
On Saturday, the Real Housewives of Dallas star revealed that mother-in-law Jill Marie Redmond died in a car crash. Thankfully, Brandi’s daughter, Brinkley, 9, who was also in the car during the crash survived.
“My husband’s beautiful mom has gone on to be with our Savior, and my sister in laws said it best…so I PLEASE ask that you keep my family in your prayers during this difficult time,” she wrote on Instagram.
While Brandi did not detail the extent of Brinkley’s injuries, she asked fans to pray for her youngest daughter.
“I ask that you lift my sweet Brinkley up as she continues to heal and that God protects her heart and eyes from this tragedy,” she wrote. “I am so thankful for her life. This is probably the most thankful yet pain I’ve ever felt.”
Brandi also shared an emotional message from her three sisters-in-law.
“This is our mom, Jill Marie Redmond. We spoke to her daily. To speak of her in past tense hurts beyond words. Hours ago, we lost her in a tragic car accident. Thank you, Jesus, for saving our niece who was in the car with her,” Bryan Redmond’s three sisters wrote on their podcast’s Instagram page.
“To know our mom was to love her. She was a shining light to all who were lucky enough to know her. She loved so fiercely. She felt so deeply. And she loved Jesus with all her heart. Her world was FAMILY. She loved her 4 children and many grandbabies to the depths of her soul, and she left us doing what she loved most- caring for her grandbabies. We are in shock and are experiencing an indescribable pain,” they continued.
Bryan later spoke out about his mother’s passing on Twitter, writing, “RIP Momma…I love you forever…you are my rock and always will be. Thank you for giving me the confidence to be me…..I love you soooo much! Your one and only!”
Several members of the RHOD cast left messages of love and support on Brandi’s Instagram post.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Brandi, Bryan, and their entire family. We are so sorry for your loss but are thankful that little Brinkley survived.
The Real Housewives of Dallas will return for season 5 in mid-to-late 2020 or early 2021.
