In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shannon gives insight into what went wrong with the Tres Amigas’ once strong bond.
“I’m not gonna lie. At the very beginning of filming, I was a little concerned because I didn’t really have close relationships with any of the cast,” Shannon admitted. “But you know, what has been nice about it is that I have been able to develop those relationships now that Vicki and Tamra aren’t there.”
According to Tamra, the minute she and Vicki were officially off RHOC, Shannon stopped calling and basically cut them off entirely.
“As soon as we’re not on the show anymore, she just doesn’t have any time for us anymore, and it really just kind of hurts my feelings,” Tamra told ET in April. “It came to a point where me and Vicki really went through some hard times when neither one of us were gonna go back to the show, we really went through, what is our identity? Who are we? … I just kind of felt like I never got that, like, ‘How are you doing? How are you feeling?’ kind of thing.”
“I just wanted that friend, that friend that I could sit there and cry on the phone with, and it was just, I guess, I wasn’t important to her,” she added.
Tamra also said she was open to working things out with Shannon if Shannon would only call her to hash things out.
However, Shannon says Tamra and Vicki’s version of events isn’t true. Shannon also says that she never knew how Vicki and Tamra really felt because they went to the media instead of coming directly to her.
“I dispute what they’ve said,” she explained. “I am not the person to sink down to a level to argue with people — that I consider close friends — in the press or on social media. That’s not who I am, that’s not what I’m made of, so I just feel like I have a little bit more decorum than they do. I don’t wanna engage with them, except to say that the things that they’ve been saying, especially Tamra, it’s a laundry list of things that aren’t true.”
Shannon says she’s had no contact with her former BFFs and has no plans on changing that moving forward.
“It’s interesting when people say, ‘You can pick up the phone….’ What moron would pick up the phone when someone’s been bashing them for months on end?” she asks. “I mean, it almost got to a point where it was weekly, where yet another untruth [would come out] and, you know — I take the high road in those situations, and I’m gonna continue to do that.”
“I really have no reason to be around them anymore,” Shannon adds. “We live, like, 45 minutes away from each other, so it’s not like we’re in the same social circles or anything like that. I don’t know when I would ever potentially run into them again.”
“I suppose I should never say never, ’cause I’m one of those people that have said, ‘I’m done!’ And then we’re friends, and Kelly Dodd might be an example of that. So, never say never, but for now, I don’t, I have no desire.”
After Shannon’s interview went viral, Tamra clapped back on Instagram in a major way.
“In my experience, loyal friends don’t constantly tell you “ IM A LOYAL FRIEND” if they do…. they are full of self-deception! Turning your back on a friend because they live 45 minutes away and don’t party in your circle anymore, isn’t any kind of friend in my book,” Tamra wrote on Instagram.
She continued, “Loyal friends are there for you when you’re going through[a] hard time, ask you how your kids are doing as their dad fights cancer, asks if you need help when your husband is having heart surgery, cries with you & accept you for who you are during good & bad times. your actions will always speak louder than your words!”
“#alwaysthevictim #onesidedfriendshipssuck, please stop saying you’re a loyal friend! Your ET interview was filled with hypocrisy & lies, and if you want to keep it up, I’ll bring out receipts! #yourloyaltyistothespotlight,” Tamra added.
She also shared a quote that read: “Some people aren’t loyal to you…they are loyal to their need of you…once their needs change so does their loyalty.”

Meanwhile, Tamra also denies that she and Vicki ever “stopped” Shannon from developing friendships with the rest of the RHOC cast.
“Ohhh cuz, we stopped you from developing those relationships. You told me all season to stay away from Kelly and Emily. Lies lies lies,” Tamra wrote.
