Garcelle Beauvais wants NeNe Leakes to join the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
On Thursday, September 17, NeNe announced that she was leaving the Real Housewives of Atlanta ahead of season 13.
“I have been on an extremely, extremely long, exhausting, tiring, emotional negotiation,” NeNe explained in a YouTube video posted to her channel. “There’s been a lot of emotion flying from both sides. It has been hard, and I have made the very hard and very difficult decision to not be a part of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ Season 13. It wasn’t an easy decision for me. It was hard.”
“I’m just so happy that I can say that I was a part of a genre that opened up doors for Black ensemble reality shows,” she noted. “I want to thank everybody that has looked up to me over the years. … I want to thank Bravo for all the memories. … Thank you to the cast for all of the memories.”
Shortly after the news broke, Garcelle told NeNe to make the move to Beverly Hills.
“@NeNeLeakes Come to #rhobh,” Garcelle said on Twitter.
Adding, “come help a sista out.”
The RHOA OG seemed to like the idea. She later replied, “On the way” alongside the laughing crying face emoji.
Back in April, Garcelle revealed, on WWHL, that NeNe gave her some great advice before joining RHOBH.
“She said, ‘Girl, they’re gonna be lying and stabbing you in the back. Watch out,’” Garcelle recently said of NeNe’s advice.
NeNe’s RHOA co-star Cynthia Bailey, on the other hand, gave Garcelle some further advice.
“Cynthia, being as sweet as she is was like, you know, ‘Have fun. They’re gonna love you. You’re gonna be great.’ She was very cool,” Garcelle told The Daily Dish.
Adding, “Nene was like, ‘Girl, look out, they’re gonna lie. They’re gonna stab you in the back.’ I got two different perspectives from them.”
No word on if Bravo would ever let NeNe make the jump to RHOBH, but it would be exciting if she did!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 11 in mid-2021.
