The Big Daddy of Bravo is spilling the tea on Denise Richards’ shocking exit from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Throughout season 10, most fans got the feeling that there was a 50/50 percent chance that Denise wasn’t returning to season 11 of RHOBH. Despite this, I think we all still had hope that she would stick around for another season or two of drama.
However, on Wednesday, September 9, Denise confirmed that she would not be returning for season 11.
When confirming her exit, Denise didn’t give a reason why she was leaving, but now Andy Cohen is stepping in to fill in the blanks.
“She’s fun, she’s airy, she’s beautiful,” Andy said of Denise on PEOPLE’s Reality Check with Daryn Carp.
“I’m just upset we couldn’t reach an agreement for next season,” he confessed. “I’m kind of living in that sadness.”
Andy added, “We were negotiating a deal with her, and we couldn’t reach an agreement on the deal.”
Daryn then asks Andy how much he “pushed” Denise during part 3 of the reunion, pointing out that Denise has been “dodging a lot of questions over the season.”
As RHOBH fans know, instead of confronting much of the drama that came her way throughout season 10, Denise ran away. Denise went entirely off the grid and stopped filming season 10 altogether when it came to addressing the alleged hookup drama between her and Brandi Glanville.
“She is answering her truth and listen. Also, she has a family and kids. Whatever happened or didn’t happen, I would imagine that it’s something that maybe she didn’t really care to discuss on a television show,” Andy explained.
Andy then admits that major scandals on Real Housewives get “beat to death,” which is precisely what happened to the Brandi and Denise drama from season 10.
“The problem with the Housewives is once the cat’s out of the bag, it’s hard to put it back. So, that’s the challenge. Once something is out there, it’s out there, and a lot of times, it gets beat to death,” he confessed.
Part 3 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 reunion airs on September 16.
