Bundle up because there’s a cold front moving through Bravo, and it’s bringing fans some fresh drama and new ice queens to love or hate.
Bravo’s popular Real Housewives franchise is adding a new city into the mix with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
The series will follow Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and? Jen Shah as they navigate the unique society that is Salt Lake City.
With a culture fueled by religion,? beauty, wealth, and perfection – what could go wrong? If the trailer is any indication – EVERYTHING.
“Perfection is attainable,” Gay says at one point while another woman adds, “There’s a lot of dark under the quest of perfection.”
While SLC is the headquarters for the Mormon Church not all of the cast members practice the faith. Marks is Jewish while Cosby is Pentecostal. Barlow, on the other hand, is “Jewish by heritage and Mormon by choice.”
Meanwhile, both Rose and Shah have left the Mormon church, which, if I’m completely honest, will be quite interesting to learn more about.
“It is a very big deal that I’m no longer Mormon,” Rose reveals while Shah says that she’s “converting to Islam.”
