Former Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay is dishing about everything from marriage to babies to Real Housewives in a new interview with Realitea With Derek Z via NECN.
To start, Rachel opened up about her first year of marriage, which wasn’t exactly normal amid the pandemic and quarantine. Rachel married chiropractor Bryan Abasolo, who won Season 13 of The Bachelorette, on August 24, 2019, in Cancun, Mexico.
“Absolutely, We’ve had fights. Absolutely. We get on each other’s nerves. What I tell people, the key to surviving quarantine is space. So Brian actually goes into the office. He’s a chiropractor, so he’s still considered an essential worker,” she explained. “And I do my work from here, and it’s like we separate, we do our thing, and then we come together at the end of the day. And it’s fantastic. And it’s what works for us. We’re independent. And then at the end of the day, or maybe sometimes for lunch or even breakfast together. Yeah, space, space is key.”
As for kids, Rachel admits she’d like to start having children “sooner than later.”
“Absolutely. That hasn’t changed. I know a lot of people are like y’all been married a year now where are the kids? And it’s like we’re doing things on our own timeline, but that has not changed. We definitely still want children. So I would say sooner than later. I do mean sooner than later. No, I’m not pregnant right now. Sorry. I can’t. I can’t. I know that’s what you wanted me to say.”
“Potomac. I love… Yes, I love that. I love the one Potomac. But New York is a close second,”
When host Derek Z pointed out that RHONY is casting, Rachel replied, “I saw Dorinda’s out, but which I’m still, I’m still not OK with that.”
