Monique Samuels isn’t holding back when it comes to her ongoing feud with Real Housewives of Potomac co-star Candiace Dillard.
The RHOP star appeared on Realitea With Derek Z via NECN and threw some major shade at Candiance. Not only did Monique call Candiace “a snake” but she also said that she doesn’t understand Candiace’s “entitlement.”
“She’s a snake with a wig on pretty much sums it up. So some people like to present this, like, very manicured perception of themselves into the world, but you can’t keep up the act forever. So at some point, people are going to see exactly what you are, and people are beginning to see it,” Monique confessed.
“Some people think that they were just stars out the whom. And, you know, the entitlement is what gets me, you know. So for me, it’s a privilege to be able to be on a platform like this and earn your way into the hearts and minds of the viewers,” she continued. “You don’t just walk in and just expect that you’re going to earn something that you haven’t worked hard for. And what I believe is through the engagement with the viewers and the fans of the show and the fans of my family.”
Monique added, “I believe in engaging with them in a positive way. I believe in having respect [for] their opinions and all of those different things. And some people don’t operate like that. And she’s definitely one of them.”
The ongoing feud between Monique and Candiace escalates quite a bit this season. As we’ve previously reported, Monique and Candiace got into a physical fight while filming season 5 of RHOP back in October 2019. Monique allegedly grabbed Candiace by her hair and pulled her down after Candiace reportedly threw a drink in Monique’s face.
Both were charged with second-degree assault after filing charges against each other however the charges were later dropped in December 2019.
Since season 5 of RHOP premiered back in August, Candiace revealed that she will never film with Monique ever again.
“No, I am not taping another season with her,” Candiace said on the August 12 episode of Kate Casey’s Reality Life podcast. “I will not be doing that. Everyone knows that. That has been made clear. I will never film another season of any show with someone who can do what she did, and then conduct themselves in the aftermath of what she did the way that she did.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
