On episode 11 of season 12, the now-former Real Housewives of New York star quipped that Tinsley should use a turkey baster to get pregnant with on-again, off-again boyfriend, Scott Kluth.
This comment came after Tinsley announced she was leaving RHONY to move to Chicago to be with Scott. The two got engaged shortly after the move.
“I’ve got a turkey baster — maybe try and have a baby,” Dorinda said while laughing.
“You just look like an evil, mean person,” Tinsley responded.
Dorinda’s comment reportedly “offended” RHONY Executive Producer Andy Cohen.
The comment “was part of sealing her fate,” a source tells Page Six. As for rumors that Dorinda would be welcome back on RHONY in the future, the source says, “I think Bravo is trying to just placate her.”
However, it turns out Andy wasn’t the only one “offended” by Dorinda’s turkey baster comment. Fans were not happy with Dorinda and took to Twitter to vent their anger.
“Dorinda making snarky comments about Tinsley’s fertility is disgusting. Women need to support other women. Cannot wait for the world to drag her for that,” one fan tweeted.
Another angry fan added, “What if your daughter had fertility issues, Dorinda? Would you not be FURIOUS at someone making the comment you did tonight towards her for that? Where does your hate for Tinsley stem from? Do you even rewatch yourself on the show? Vindictive & vile behavior!”
The Real Housewives of New York airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
