Everything is bigger in Texas, including the drama, which is why fans can expect BIG DRAMA from season 5 of the Real Housewives of Dallas.
She also claims that LeeAnne was fired from RHOD and didn’t “leave on her own accord.”
When it comes to season 5 of RHOD, D’Andra teased what fans can expect.
“It’ll be different than what you’ve seen before,” she explained. “It’s really forced everyone to come to the table with a very rich personal story. I have a very heart-wrenching story this year, and I know some of the other girls do too. People dig deep. They go there. There’s a lot of interesting twists and turns. I’m very proud of our show this year.”
While D’Andra is excited for fans to see season 5, she also admits that it was a “hard season.”
“Some of the things I’ve done I’m not proud of, but we all make mistakes, and this is reality TV,” she shared.
As for LeeAnne’s exit from RHOD, D’Andra says she was fired and that she “wasn’t shocked at all” that Bravo chose to fire LeeAnne after her behavior during season 4.
During season 4, Leeanne came under fire for racist comments she made about co-star Cary Brittingham’s Mexican heritage.
“She did not leave on her own accord. I don’t care what she says. She did not leave because she wanted to leave. She left because she was asked to leave. Bottom line is she was fired,” D’Andra confessed.
D’Andra went on to say that she doesn’t understand why some Housewives lie about their departures from Real Housewives.
“Every Housewife has an expiration date, I’m well aware it may be next year for me. It may be two years. But when it’s time for me to go, I’m not going to go out there and say, ‘I decided to leave.’ I’m just going to say, ‘Bravo decided I wasn’t good for the cast anymore.’ It’s not a forever deal. There’s no point in hiding it,” she said.
As for her once rock-solid friendship with LeeAnne, D’Andra admits they haven’t spoken since the RHOD season 4 reunion and says she has no plans to reconcile with LeeAnne.
“I’ve not communicated with her since the reunion, and there’ll be no communication as far as I’m concerned. Who she was when I met her years and years ago was not who she was on that show. She portrayed herself in a much different way than who she really was. And then I found out who she was, and I was really disappointed,” D’Andra admitted.
D’Andra said she could not forgive LeeAnne for spreading about her husband, Jeremy Lock. LeeAnne spread rumors that Jeremy was having an affair with a woman named Jessica, who we allegedly met at the gym.
“We may have had some come-together point, but when that happened, and it went against my husband who never did anything to anybody, it’s over,” she explained.
The Real Housewives of Dallas will return for season 5 in mid-to-late 2020 or early 2021.
