Word on the street is the Real Housewives of Potomac brings it like no other franchise on Bravo!
RHOP star Gizelle Bryant appeared on Lala Kent’s podcast, Give Them Lala…with Randall, and threw some major shade at the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast!
According to Gizelle, the RHOBH cast gets away with fighting over “literally nothing” where the RHOP isn’t that lucky!
“Did you find it hard where it was like there are certain things I don’t really want to discuss for the world to watch?” the Vanderpump Rules star asked.
“Of course,” Gizelle admitted. “You know, season 1, we were really kind of like lightweight, and it was never really anything that was too out of bounds. However, as time goes by, you know this, stuff gets leaked to the press. So, once it’s public in regards to press, we’ve gotta talk about it. You can’t not talk about it.”
She continued, “That’s kind of where the seasons have changed, and the information has changed. It’s kind of like ‘I can’t sit here and act like I haven’t read the blogs because now I know all about your husband and what he’s doing. You know, with Karen [Huger] and her whole tax thing, that was in the Washington Post that her husband owed the IRS like $5 million. There’s no way we can’t talk about it. I have to talk about it.”
Lala agreed: “I’m telling you when I watch y’all’s show, it’s like real shit.”
Gizelle then threw some shade at RHOBH, saying, “I feel like, you know, we can’t get away with… I feel like Beverly Hills, you know, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I love those ladies. I think that they are funny and, you know, they are dripping in diamonds and pearls. I love it, but they argue over literally nothing, like zero.”
Lala added, “Like Lucy, Lucy Apple Juicy. It’s like give me some real meat.”
Gizelle then pointed out, “Whereas we couldn’t get away with that if our life depended on it. There’s no way.”
As for the drama to come on this season of RHOP, Gizelle teased, “We get into it, and especially this season.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
