After six seasons of making it nice, Dorinda Medley is leaving the Real Housewives of New York.
Earlier Tuesday morning, Dorinda announced that she is exiting RHONY after six glorious seasons of drama and fun.
“What a journey this has been. I have laughed and cried and tried to Make it Nice…,” Dorinda wrote. “But all things must come to an end. This was a great outlet for me to heal when my late husband, Richard, passed away. I have met so many interesting people and learned so much about myself, about life, and about women along the way.”
She continued, “Thank you to Bravo and NBC for the incredible ride and to my castmates for constant stimulation and entertainment. I wish you all health, happiness, and success.”
She ended the post with her signature phrase, “Clip.”

The Bravo community is shocked by the news of Dorinda’s departure.
Amy Phillips wrote, “NOOOO! Dorinda, please don’t go!!”
Andy Cohen, on the other hand, commented, “What a ride. Unforgettable.”
At the time of writing this story, only one of Dorinda’s former RHONY co-stars had commented on her announcement.
Bethenny Frankel kept it simple, commenting, “XOXO.”
RHONJ’s Margaret Josephs’ wrote, “You are a legend, forever an ICON, love you.”
While this news comes as a shock to all RHONY fans, rumors of a major casting shakeup have been swirling for a few weeks now.
RHONY newbie Leah McSweeney has called for more diversity on the show while earlier this month, Luann de Lesseps confirmed that there would be some “new Housewives” added into the mix for season 13.
Andy previously told Us Weekly that he was “excited” for what the network had planned for season 13.
An insider told Us Weekly, “Bravo is planning to shake things up with The Real Housewives of New York next year,” while another insider added, “There’s going to be some changes. … A handful of white women doesn’t necessarily represent what New York City is all about.”
In the coming days, we will likely hear more news in regards to casting changes on RHONY.
