Lights, camera, action!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey have officially started filming season 11!
The NJ Housewives originally started filming for season 11 back in March; however, they only got about a week of filming in before Bravo pulled the plug due the Coronavirus pandemic.
Now, filming on most Bravo productions, including RHONJ, is in full swing once again. While the Coronavirus pandemic isn’t slowing down, Bravo feels they can keep the cameras rolling while taking the necessary precautions. Those precautions include temperature checks, wearing masks, and avoiding filming in large crowds.
On Thursday, Melissa Gorga’s daughter Antonia Gorga shared a photo of a cameraman filming in her family’s backyard on her Instagram stories.
Meanwhile, Jackie Goldschnieder posted a photo of her and Melissa on Instagram with the caption: “Let the games begin.”
It’s unclear if Danielle Staub will return to the show in any role. During season 10, Danielle vowed to NEVER return to RHONJ again following her fallout with Teresa and drama Margaret and the rest of the cast.
Bravo is also considering bringing some blood on board, but nothing is set in stone just yet.
“The network is toying with the idea of adding someone else, but since they weren’t even one full week into filming, they haven’t decided yet. Some of them hadn’t even filmed together, and very few scenes had been filmed,” a source explained to HollywoodLife in May. “They are talking to a few women though to see if they’d mesh, but it’s looking like the same ladies from next season only.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return to Bravo in late 2020 or early 2021.
