Shannon Beador has tested positive for Coronavirus.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star confirmed her diagnosis via Instagram on Friday, June 24. In the post, she also revealed that her three teenage daughters, twins Stella and Adeline, 16, and Sophie, 19 tested positive for Coronavirus as well.
“This photo was taken pre-pandemic. Today, we are COVID positive times 4. The girls and I are blessed to be quarantining in the same home (but isolating in separate rooms). A huge thank you to all of the medical personnel that have been patiently guiding us through this illness. Sending prayers to all of those affected,” Shannon wrote.
Back in May, Shannon and the RHOC season 15 cast came under fire after they reunited amid the ongoing pandemic.
On Sunday, May 3, Shannon, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, Kelly Dodd, and Emily Simpson reunited for some “social distancing” fun at Shannon’s home.
They ladies documented their reunion on social media, but not everyone was feeling so good about the OC Housewives being back together.
Fans criticized the ladies for not staying six-feet apart from each other, among other things.
“Interesting your mask says 6 ft…yet in your pictures you definitely aren’t 6 ft apart…” one fan wrote on Shannon’s Instagram.
Shannon clapped back, “These fabric masks are worn over N95 masks. Unbelievable the criticism. Trying to showcase the generosity of our friend at @goldsheepclothing that is donating and helping to keep the front line healthy across the US!”
Another fan commented, “your friends’ generosity is very much appreciated. What is not understood is that you post yesterday measuring out 6 ft for you all to sit for your “social distancing” gathering, but then take a selfie…You post the photo, and people are going to notice and have opinions.”
“Honestly. This is ridiculous. We did social distance without masks. When we got close had the proper mask gear on. Done defending this. I have lung damage. Not going to be stupid…” Shannon replied.
Meanwhile, in the last few weeks, the RHOC cast resumed filming for season 15 and even went on a mini-cast trip the week of July 13.
It’s unknown how this news will affect filming the rest of season 15 or if Bravo will halt filming once again as the network has yet to comment on Shannon’s diagnosis.
The Real Housewives of Orange County is expected to return to Bravo for season 15 in late 2020 or early 2021.
