During a live stream with RHONY friend of the Housewives Elyse Slaine, Jill slammed Dorinda, calling her “vile.” She also insists that Dorinda “blocked” her from attending the cast trip the Berkshires.
Jill also claimed that Dorinda yelled “Bravo Bravo Bravo” when filming the Halloween episode of season 12 while even hinting that Dorinda may have felt threatened by Jill’s possible return to RHONY.
“I wanted to go that weekend up to Dorinda’s house. I’m glad I didn’t because I think it would have been bad for me. But I wanted to, and Dorinda blocked me,” Jill told Elyse. “She was very mean to me at the party that night… at the Halloween party. And I said, ‘I can’t do this.’ She was so mean to me. I said, ‘You know, Dorinda, did I do something to you? You’ve been very mean to me.’ And she goes, ‘Bravo, Bravo Bravo! We’re not doing this on the show. You’re just using me to get on the show.’”
According to Jill, she was hurt by all the antics at the season 12 Halloween party.
“And I liked Dorinda. I liked Dorinda [on] season one. I don’t like Dorinda this season. She’s not nice. I think she’s angry and hurt and coming from a place of all that, but I don’t see her being very nice to anyone,” Jill continued.
While Elyse attempted to defend Dorinda; saying that her season 12 behavior wasn’t as bad as it came across on season 12. However, Jill disagreed and dubbed Dorinda’s behavior as “vile.”
“She was vile to me at the party that night. I don’t know if she maybe just had a fight with John. I don’t know what was going on with her life. All I know is she saw me as this huge threat,” Jill explained.
Jill then insisted that Dorinda felt threatened by her potential return to the show. After Tinsley Mortimer’s exit from RHONY mid-way through season 12, Luann de Lesseps was pushing for Jill to be brought back full-time.
However, Jill says she had no interest in returning to the show full-time because she was heading to Florida for the winter season.
“It would have been fun, and I just wanted to do [the Berkshires trip], and that was it. I was going to Florida,” Jill noted.
“I don’t know why Dorinda felt so threatened by me. If anything, I would have been very loyal to her because we have a history together. I would have been a good person to back her up against Ramona. I would have been an ally,” she added.
