Villa Blanca is nomore.
Lisa Vanderpump’s iconic Los Angeles restaurant Villa Blanca has closed its doors for good.
According to Tamara Tattles, Villa Blanca is available for sub-lease. Apparently, the Vanderpump/Todd’s have been trying to unload the restaurant for years.
The issues with Villa Blanca started in 2014 when Ken and Lisa were hit with a major financial blow after losing a sexual discrimination lawsuit. The lawsuit all but bankrupted the LA-based eatery.
Now it seems that Villa Blanca has finally gone belly up and closed its doors for good.
Several spies in the area say the restaurant is boarded up with white paint covering all the winders. A note on the door reads: “Closed for painting and refurb.”
One nearby business owner hinted that LVP might not have been able to afford the rent on Villa Blanca anymore since quitting RHOBH. Another suggested that Ken Todd has “more debt than he can carry.”
And if Lisa and Ken’s show Vanderpump Rules gets canceled by Bravo, the couple could be facing some major financial struggles for all of the West Hollywood eateries.
“What was your reaction tot he news that Villa Blanca closed?” Andy asked Kyle.
Kyle replied, “Well, I mean, all the restaurants are so hard hit in Los Angeles; it really didn’t surprise me at all.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
