Talk about a bizarre accusation!
Yolanda Hadid hasn’t been in the spotlight for some time, choosing a life on a peaceful farm after leaving RHOBH. Despite her now tranquil life, Yo recently found herself in the middle of a dark scandal when it was reported that she had allegedly let disgraced socialite Ghislaine Maxwell hide in her Pennsylvania country home.
The trouble started in a series of tweets from Dutch journalist Henk Van Ess, who claimed he tracked Ghislaine through her IP address. The Dutch journalist claimed that Ghislaine Maxwell had visited a doughnut shop near the Hadids’ farmhouse in Pennsylvania, and added that she was “friendly with the Hadid family.” He later tweeted (then deleted) a link to an article about the Hadids’ home, writing, “Thanks to @NWOGaction here are some photos of the place #ghislanemaxwell near #doylestown probably stayed in – the farm of Dutch-born Yolanda van den Herik, now called Yolanda Hadid.”
Those are quite the allegations considering the severity of the accusations that Ghislaine is facing. This reporter basically accused the Hadid family of harboring a fugitive which would be a very serious offense. Not to take this accusation sitting down, Yolanda then tweeted:
“I do not know or have ever associated with Ghislane- the first time I have heard about her or any of this was watching the documentary, like the rest of the world, on Netflix,”
Her supermodel daughter Gigi Hadid, who is expecting, also chimed in stating:
“My mom, clearly from her timeline, almost never uses the twitter app.. this was only brought to her attention by me bc fans were sending me your tweets,”
As of now, no word on where Van Ess got his supposed tip; however most of his original tweets have now been deleted.
RHOBH airs tonight on Bravo.
