Tinsley Mortimer may have walked away from the Real Housewives of New York, but rumor has it she’s “planning on” attending the upcoming season 12 reunion.
HollywoodLife reports that Tinsley is “planning on” attending the season 12 reunion, whether it’s filmed virtually or in person.
According to an insider, Bravo is “hoping to tape the Real Housewives of New York City reunion in the city in August. Right now, all of the ladies are out of town except for Sonja [Morgan] and Leah [McSweeney], so they will all have to come back for it. However, none of the ladies have an issue with coming back for the reunion, so they’re OK with whatever the network decides. Andy [Cohen] will host it, just like every other reunion. Obviously, if coronavirus cases spike again, plans may be altered, but right now, all systems are a go-to do this in person in the city, and the ladies are really excited about it.”
“Tinsley is planning on joining the reunion, too, despite walking away from the show earlier this season,” the source continued. “So you can expect one of the hottest topics at the reunion to be Dorinda [Medley] ’s and Tinsley’s feud [from earlier this season].”
However, a production source points out that IF Bravo does decide to film the season 12 reunion in person, “there would be many protocols in place. Health/temperature checks, social distancing, mask-wearing when not on camera, extra sanitizing, etc. are among the standards.”
Tinsley’s final episode of RHONY aired on June 11 before the show took a two-week hiatus. In her final episode, fans saw Tinsley finally get her happily ever after and move to Chicago to be with her longtime love Scott Kluth.
The Real Housewives of New York airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
