Eileen Davidson is spilling some MAJOR tea about her time on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In a new interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish podcast, Eileen dishes on her past drama with Kim Richards and Lisa Vanderpump. Eileen also claims that LVP worked hard behind the scenes to control the narrative as well as the drama on RHOBH.
The Soap star reflected on her showdown with Kim during Lisa Rinna and Kim’s now-infamous season 5 dinner fight in Amsterdam.
“She hated me out of the gate,” Eileen said of former nemesis Kim. “I have no idea [why], just … hated me. Just always did. [At]the wrap party for that season, she came up to me like nothing had happened. [She said] ‘Oh hi, how’s it going?’ I was like ‘Um … well?’ I thought, ‘A bunch of s–t just happened!’”
She continued, “But then again, I saw her at Kyle’s party, and I don’t think she acknowledged me, from my understanding. I could be wrong, but that was my take on it. [Since] I’ve been off the show, I have absolutely no issue with anybody. But I don’t know what it was [with Kim]. I don’t know.”
Eileen went on to say that her relationship with LVP was equally as tense, especially after she noticed that LVP was trying to manufacture drama on the show.
According to Eileen, LVP tried to get Rinna and Kim together after their dinner fight and that LVP was “pressuring” Rinna to go against her gut instinct for the sake of the show.
“[It] kind of started this whole domino effect for the next few seasons, actually,” Eileen explained. “I saw what was going on behind the scenes, and I went, ‘Okay, this doesn’t make any sense in terms of what really just happened,’ and I felt like she was pressuring [Rinna] to do something else. I think for somebody who was on the show for as long as she was she was also maybe trying to keep it interesting or thought that it should go a certain way — I really don’t know.”
As for LVP season 9 exit from RHOBH, Eileen admits she “wasn’t shocked.” Adding that LVP’s manipulative ways had become stale and predictable.
“[S]he’s been accused of the same thing for…ever. So it’s like, how many times can you keep doing that, you know, keep doing the same thing and keep getting the same reaction from the same housewives or new housewives?” she wondered. “It has to evolve somewhere.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
