The Real Housewives of New York newbie went on an Instagram rant after Ramona and her daughter Avery Singer traveled from New York to Boca Raton, FL, to quarantine in March only to return to the Big Apple a week ago. This move back to NYC comes just as Florida’s Coronavirus cases have started to spike to astronomical levels.
“I am so disgusted by some of my castmates and their families who spent the entire f—ng quarantine in Florida, living it up, showing everyone how they’re living it up,” Leah said in an Instagram video. “Then Florida, of course, faces surge. They f—-ng come back to New York, and they’re out like nothing. Not quarantining. Not taking this s–t seriously. And basically laughing in all of our faces.”
While Leah didn’t mention Ramona by name, she’s the only RHONY that has been spending time in Florida over the last several months.
After arriving back in NYC last week, Ramona took off for the Hamptons while Avery returned to her apartment in the city.
“F–k you guys,” Leah continued while giving the middle finger to the camera. “How f—d up is it that you think you’re going to reap the benefits of our hard work and possibly spread f–king COVID?”
Meanwhile, Ramona is defending her family’s decision to travel during the pandemic and disagrees with Leah’s feelings about the actions she and her daughter took.
“My family and I quarantined in Florida for more than three months to stay together during this crisis,” Ramona told Page Six. “It was the best thing we could have done for one another, and I am so fortunate that my ex-husband [Mario] offered for us to stay with him. It was always the plan to come back to New York at this time, and we took every precaution possible while traveling. The continued health and safety of my family, friends, and community is of the utmost importance to me.”
The Real Housewives of New York airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
