Kelly Dodd is getting REAL about her own experiences with racism after her controversial statements about Black men resurfaced online.
On June 20th, the Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed on Instagram that she has experienced racism as a Mexican American woman.
In the Instagram post, Kelly vowed to stop fighting with fans and haters on social media.
“I’m going to stop arguing with people on my social media,” Kelly wrote.
A fan then commented, “But like, do you truly believe that bc “you’re Mexican you can’t be racist”?”
Kelly replied, “I’ve experienced racism personally… I’m a woman of color and love everyone!”
This comes after Kelly came under fire for comments she made about black men in 2016.
In 2016, TMZ filmed Kelly saying she didn’t “like” or “know any Black guys.”
“I don’t like black guys,” Dodd told TMZ. “I don’t even know any black guys.”

The video recently resurfaced and has caused quite the stir among Bravo fans.
Meanwhile, on an Instagram Q&A last week, former RHOC star Tamra Judge told fans that she thinks Bravo should fire Kelly.
A fan asked, “Do you think Kelly [Dodd] should be fired for her racist statements coming to light?”
“Yes, I do, that TMZ video is disgusting!” Tamra said. “Bravo shouldn’t just single certain people out like Stassi [Schroeder] & Kristen [Doute]. There should be zero tolerance at this point.”
Kelly fired back at Tamra’s comment and called her “thirsty.”
“She’s just thirsty and mad she got the bullet .. grasping for straws poor thing .. I hope she finds happiness,” Kelly wrote.
The outspoken reality TV star also denied rumors that she had been fired from RHOC.
The Real Housewives of Orange County is expected to return to Bravo for season 15 in late 2020.
