Peter Hunziker of ‘Below Deck Med’ has been Fired by Bravo for Racist Posts! Bravo Now Editing the Show to Minimize his Future Appearances

Bravo is cleaning house on anyone that has been found to make racist remarks, and Below Deck’s Peter Hunziker is the latest to be let go.

The ‘Below Deck Med’ star has only been in three episode so far this season; however Bravo has made it clear that they are going to re-edit future episodes to minimize his appearances. In a post made to Bravo’s official Instagram page, they state:

“Peter Hunziker of Below Deck Mediterranean has been terminated for his racist posts. Bravo and 51 Minds are editing the show to minimize his appearances for subsequent episodes.”

According to The Daily Mail, Peter reportedly “reposted a meme that depicted shocking racist and degrading sexual imagery.”

In addition to his latest controversy, Peter has also been accused of acting sexist as he has referred to Malia, who is his superior, as ‘sweetie’ and ‘sweetheart’ this season, much to the annoyance of Malia. This is the latest firing for Bravo who also recently terminated Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni of Vanderpump Rules. Many rumors of other Bravolebs who may be affected have been swirling these past few days as fans have been pointing out previous racist remarks that had been said on the show or in the reality stars’ personal lives.

I think Bravo is right in taking a strong stance against any form of racism and I imagine more Bravo stars will be affected. With other shows being re-edited I have to wonder if this may be the case.

Thoughts on Peter getting fired? Do you think more Bravolebs will be affected?
