The former Bond girl is still learning the ropes of reality TV but admits her second season of RHOBH is “very different” than her first.
“I went in very naive, I think, [during] the very first season,” Denise said on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show on Tuesday, June 16. “I want to be myself because some people do know of me, and I didn’t want to play a character, otherwise, let’s call it scripted.”
She added, “So I just wanted to be myself on the show, and whatever happens, happens and just react how I really would.”
Denise says that during season 9, she developed “great friendships” with her RHOBH co-stars. However, she also acknowledges that season 10 has been “very different” for her.
The Wild Things star also touched upon RHOBH’s current hiatus. Season 10 of RHOBH is currently on hiatus for the next several weeks. Fans will not see new episodes until Wednesday, July 8.
“I think that we’re on hiatus because we got so far behind with the confessionals with the COVID,” she explained. “We just recently started doing them where we’re filming ourselves basically.”
She continued, “We have someone come in and set everything up with a mask … so we got behind for that. So I think that’s part of the reason why we have to go on hiatus. We gotta catch up with the episodes.”
Speaking of the RHOBH hiatus, Andy Cohen also addressed the break on Twitter.
“Taking a teeny hiatus due to COVID. Takes longer to edit the show now, but it’ll be worth the wait….” Andy tweeted.
Garcelle Beauvais also dished on the RHOBH mid-season break, tweeting, “It’s just a hiatus because of COVID they need time edit! We will be back in 2 weeks.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
