Andy Cohen Isn’t Interested In Re-Addressing Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna’s Controversial Halloween Costume Despite the Demands of #RHOBH Fans

Andy Cohen isn’t interested in re-addressing Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna’s controversial Sid and Nancy Halloween costume.

In 2015, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills staples dressed up as Sex Pistols rocker, Sid Vicious, and his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen, for Halloween. Many took issue with Harry replicating Sid’s infamous swastika T-shirt.

Lisa and Harry immediately apologized for the lapse in judgment.

“If I hurt you, we were being authentic to the characters of Sid and Nancy for our Halloween costumes. It hurt and angered many of you, and we are deeply sorry for that. That was never our intention. We did not mean to offend. With love, Lisa and Harry,” the RHOBH star wrote on her Instagram on November 2, 2015.

However, it seems even 5 years later their ‘I’m sorry’ isn’t enough for some fans.

Ever since Vanderpump Rules stars Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni were fired for past racist actions; some Bravo fans have been encouraging the network to fire other stars that have problematic pasts – including Lisa.

It turns out some RHOBH fans feel that Lisa should be fired for this Halloween costume and find it hypocritical that Andy is refusing to do so.

On June 15, Andy tweeted, “Hey Brett Kavanaugh – fuck you” over Kavanaugh’s vote in the Supreme Court’s 6-3 decision to give “gay, lesbian, and transgender workers protection under a 1964 federal law banning employment discrimination.”

One Bravo fan questioned why Andy didn’t have the same reaction to Harry and Lisa’s Sid and Nancy costume.

Andy replied, “We beat this stupid Halloween costume to death about 3 or 4 years ago.”

This response didn’t sit well with fans AT ALL. Some fans called Bravo and Andy hypocrites, claiming they were “picking and choosing” what type of controversial behavior is acceptable. Others insisted that the network has a vast “double standard” when it comes to which of their stars they hold accountable.

AllAboutTRH has reached out to Lisa for a comment but she has yet to respond to our request.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
