Stassi Schroeder is going to be a mom!
The former Vanderpump Rules star’s rep confirmed her pregnancy on June 16 in a statement to Us Weekly.
“Stassi and Beau will be welcoming their first child the first week in January and are grateful and eager to begin the next chapter of their lives as parents,” her rep said.
This confirmation comes after days of speculation and gossip that Stassi was pregnant. On Saturday, June 13, Us Weekly reported that Stassi and fiancé Beau Clark were expecting their first child.
Stassi has never been shy about wanting to be a mom.
“I’m ready to have a baby,” Stassi said in June 2019. “I’ve never really been someone that’s, like, dreamt about her wedding … but I always knew that I wanted to be a mom. So I feel like I’m in a place in my life where I make my own decisions and forge my own path. I know I want to be a mom, so I would rather get knocked up before I waited to have a wedding.”
While this news is thrilling for Stassi, Beau, and their family on a personal level it comes at a very difficult time for Stassi’s professional life.
The former reality TV star is still reeling after losing everything from her reality show to her podcast, its tour, and all her sponsors.
Last Tuesday, Stassi was fired from Vanderpump Rules for past racist actions. Co-stars Kristen Doute, Brett Caprioni, and Max Boyens were also fired.
As a result, Beau will also be leaving VPR.
“Beau won’t do Vanderpump Rules without Stassi,” a source revealed following Stassi’s exit. “He’s fully standing by her publicly and privately too. Since Beau is also in entertainment, Stassi is hopeful that he can help with getting her future jobs. She is hoping to come out stronger and better as a result of this experience.”
Meanwhile, Stassi’s new rep, Steve Honig, tells AllAboutTRH, that Stassi wants to “move forward as part of the solution in ways that are productive, meaningful, and sincere.”
Adding that she knows “actions speak louder than words.”
It’s unclear if Bravo will renew Vanderpump Rules for season 9.
