Andy Cohen is setting the record straight.
“Lori has everything that makes a good housewife: beauty, fame, celebrity friends and scandal,” an insider told Life & Style earlier this week. “Plus, she knows full well that she’s going to find it difficult to find a job again.”
“She would have never signed on to do this before, but it’s a steady paycheck,” the insider added. “Andy’s given her a lot to think about.”
“There is a whole narrative apparently that I am pursuing Lori Loughlin for the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Andy said on Wednesday’s episode of Radio Andy. “The first I heard about that was Twitter…It’s not true.”
Andy went on to say that Lori is “a very nice person” and that “She is going to have quite a story to tell.”
In March 2019, Lori was arrested as a part of the now-infamous Operation Varsity Blues. Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, paid $500k to get their daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella into USC as recruits for the university’s crew team.
The 55-year-old actress recently pleaded guilty to charges of mail and wire fraud. She is set to spend two months in prison.
Thoughts on what Andy had to say? Are you glad Andy isn’t persuing Lori to join RHOBH? Would Lori be a good fit for Real Housewives?
