Lisa Vanderpump is finally speaking out about the firing of Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute.
On Tuesday, Stassi, and Kristen, along with Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni, were fired from Vanderpump Rules. This shocking news came after former SURverFaith Stowers appeared on an Instagram Live with Candace Rice, where she opened up about being the only black cast member on VPR. In the interview, she also called out Stassi and Kristen for calling the police on her as revenge for sleeping with Jax Taylor.
“There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people,” Faith explained. “And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from actually Stassi during an interview.”
Faith’s bombshell sparked anger and upset for many Pump Rules fans who demanded action be taken against Stassi and Kristen.
Stassi and Kristen swiftly issued public apologies, but it seems for many, it was too little too late. However, the two allegedly failed to apologize to Faith directly.
In the midst of all this, the Vanderpump Rules HBIC remained surprisingly quiet.
However, now Lisa is speaking out, but some fans aren’t happy with what she has to say. Some think Lisa said a whole lot of nothing.
One fan called Lisa’s statement a “whole lot of nothing” while another said it was an “empty statement” and that Lisa took “zero accountability.”
Another fan commented, “But you were willing to overlook their initial past comments, even just a few days ago.”
Others questioned how Lisa could fire Stassi and Kristen but keep Jax Taylor and James Kennedy employed.
Meanwhile, other fans found Lisa’s statement “disingenuous” and that she “passively supported homophobia and racism for years just to make a profit.”
Part 3 of theVanderpump Rules season 8 reunion airs on June 16 at 9 p.m.
