Vanderpump Rules Cast ‘Shocked’ After Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni Are Fired Plus, Faith Stowers Says She Feels ‘Vindicated’

The reality TV universe was rocked on Tuesday when Bravo and Evolution Media announced that several members of the Vanderpump Rules cast had been fired.

The statement read: “Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules.”

Fans were shocked over this news, and it turns out so was the rest of the Pump Rules cast.

“The rest of the cast is just finding out the news about the firings. They are shocked,” one insider tells Us Weekly. “There was still no word to the cast about the plans for starting up filming for next season.”

A second source reveals that the rest of the VPR cast which includes Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, and Dayna Kathan found out about the casting shakeup when Variety broke the news early Tuesday morning.

A third source says that Stassi was “NOT expecting to be fired.”

“Stassi was not expecting to be fired. She is surprised and upset,” the source tells Us Weekly.

The source also notes that Stassi has “lost a lot of money from losing sponsorships and paid opportunities” but has thankfully saved a lot of money over the years.

Meanwhile, Faith Stowers feels “vindicated” and “hopeful” after learning that Stassi and Kristen were fired for making a false police report against her in 2018.

“I feel so vindicated studios and production are able to see blatant racism and make these positive changes and help move the race forward — help with the fight forward,” she told Page Six. “I was ready to put myself in the line of fire because I don’t know what will happen if I don’t say anything, but I’m glad I did.”

“I hope they use this time that they have now to educate themselves to why this happened to them and try to use [their] voice later for real change,” Faith noted, adding that she’s happy to see Bravo finally taking a stand.

“Now I’m seeing Bravo follow suit — the same as MTV and ‘The Challenge’ — [by] letting go of castmates that have also made racist remarks. Bravo is releasing women that have given them crazy ratings because they want to be on the right side of history,” she concluded.

On Instagram Live last week, Faith revealed, “There was this article in the Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. I guess this woman was robbing people.”

She added, “And [Schroeder and Doute] called the cops and said it was me.”

Stassi also bragged about the incident on a now-deleted 2018 Bitch Bible podcast episode.

“We are like, we just solved a f–king a crime,” Stassi said at the time. As for Kristen, she shared the below post on Twitter.

Stassi and Kristen have since apologized for their behavior and comments, but it seems for many, it was too little too late. On Sunday, the Pump Rules OGs released public statements of apology. However, the two allegedly failed to apologize to Faith directly.
