Erika Girardi raised her son, right!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star clapped back at a fan who called her out for supporting Black Lives Matter while having a son who is a police officer.
On Tuesday, Erika posted a black square in support of #BlackoutTuesday; however, one fan took issue with this and commented: “Your son is an officer.”
Not surprisingly, this comment rubbed Erika the wrong way.
“My son was brought up NOT to be racist,” Erika replied. “His job is to protect and serve ALL, not just people that have his skin color. F–k you and stay off my page.”
Later on, Erika shared comments from fans who supported her clap back on her Instagram stories.
She also revealed that the original commenter blocked her on Instagram.
“@donna ray had a lot to say this morning but now blocked me,” Erika wrote in her Instagram stories.
It was only recently that Erika started opening up a little bit more about her son, Tommy Rizzo, who works for the LAPD.
“People say we look alike. No, you can’t comment,” Erika captioned an Instagram photo of Tommy back in May.
Erika later told Andy Cohen that she didn’t regret sharing a photo of her son in his uniform; in fact, she admitted it was her “best-performing post.”
“I put him on Instagram, and he’s my best-performing post,” Erika revealed on Radio Andy. “He didn’t choose this life, I chose this life, and you try to protect them. I don’t care if he is an adult, and he carries a gun and a badge. At the end of the day, he’s still my boy, but I posted it, and I’m glad I did. He is a very fine young man, and I’m super proud.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
