Denise Richards Denies Lying to Her Co-stars About her Daughter’s Reaction To the Threesome Conversation

Denise Richards denies that she lied to her co-stars when asked about her daughter Sami’s reaction to the threesome talk.

On Wednesday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the threesome-gate drama came back up during dinner in Santa Barbara.

“You know I had you all over at my house, and I had my kids there and their friends, and honestly, I’ve never talked about a threesome with my child before,” Denise explained. “I would not want to hear my mother and her friends talk about threesomes.”

“I’m not a prude, but that doesn’t mean I want my kids or their friends hearing adult conversations at our home. It’s so surprising that these women aren’t getting it,” Denise added in her confessional.

“I just think it’s a little naive. I mean, yes, it was disrespectful, but I don’t think it’s anything they haven’t heard,” Erika Girardi added.

“Of course, it’s nothing they haven’t heard,” Denise agreed. “I just didn’t want them to hear it from their mom and mom’s friends. All I was saying was, can we keep it down with the kids right there. I will be mindful of them being in earshot around all of us, that’s all.”

Erika laughed at Denise’s comment as the former Bond girl continued, “Honestly, it takes a lot to offend me. I wasn’t going to say anything until Sami said something to me, and I was like, ‘Oh, shit,’ ya know. It affected her. So, I just told her I apologize that you heard that, and I hope that your friends don’t go home and say anything to their parents.”

“What did she say?” Erika asked Denise.

“I don’t want to get into this anymore. It’s not that big of a deal. We’re done,” Denise replied, refusing to explain that her daughter laughed off the threesome talk and was unphased by it.

As this week’s episode aired, fans and co-star Erika called Denise out on Twitter for shutting down the conversation and lying about what her daughter really said.

Now, Denise is setting the record straight on why she shut down the conversation.

“I didn’t lie; you weren’t there for conversations,” Denise insisted.

She added, “I also didn’t keep bringing the issue up, they did. I was actually asked for details about my kids that didn’t air that I felt were private, and the issue was being pushed too far. That’s why I shut her down.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
