NeNe Leakes is removing herself from the drama on the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion.
The RHOA OG penned a statement on Instagram, explaining why she chose to remove herself from the drama on the season 12 reunion.
As we saw during part 2 of the RHOA season 12 reunion, NeNe got up and walked away after getting into a war of words with co-star Kandi Burruss. We should note, this is the second time NeNe stormed off the reunion this season.
However, it seems that NeNe didn’t exit the reunion because of her beef with Kandi but instead because of Kenya Moore. NeNe seemed disgusted when a montage of Kenya shading her alleged BFF Cynthia Bailey played on the screen.
“That’s why I can’t stand her. It’s crazy,” NeNe said of Kenya.
“What would they do if I wasn’t even here?” NeNe wondered aloud. “Who the f–k are they going to talk to? What would they do?”
We then saw NeNe lower her camera and seemingly walk off her makeshift reunion set.
Now, NeNe is opening up about why she walked away from the drama. According to NeNe, she felt the “rules” only applied to her and that she was “being held to a different standard” than some of the other ladies i.e., Kenya.
